SOCHA
Soucha is a Japanese-style cafe run by a construction company located at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake.
When you open the door to feel the warmth of wood, you will see a large table made of a single piece of zelkova wood. The table legs are made of a real stone well, and the domed earthen ceiling, walls, and beautiful wood-grained pillars playfully express the new form of a Japanese tea room.
The view through the window, which is reminiscent of the world of “chanoyu,” or the tea ceremony, is like a work of art. The window is designed in such a way that it is difficult to see the inside from the outside, allowing visitors to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea in a quiet space where they can forget the hustle and bustle of the city.
The tea is made with natural water from the southern foothills of Mt. Yatsugatake and boiled in a special tea kettle for "chashitsu"(Japanese tea room).
Come and experience a relaxing space where you can enjoy authentic matcha in a casual atmosphere.
