Yanagi ni Sakura

Pickles are an excellent fermented food and rich in fiber. However, there are so many varieties on the market that it is difficult to choose the right one.

The owners of Yanagini ni Sakura are pickle professionals who worked together for many years at a pickle wholesaler in Tsukiji.  They select and sell only pickles that are safe to serve on the table from all over the country , after carefully testing not only the taste, but also the additives and preservatives.

Pickles are not a main dish.  It is not an essential part of the meal.  That is why having a very tasty pickle as a side dish can be a pleasure and a luxury.

In summer, pickled summer vegetables like eggplant, melon, and bitter gourd are popular.
Another summer recommendation, tomato pickle jelly, can be eaten with chilled udon noodles or somen noodles along with the jelly itself.
